What the free demo is for.
Use the demonstration to put a real example through the system: book a service, record the payment, check the barber’s commission and find the day’s report. Bring the parts of your current routine that take too long or cause disagreement.
A free demonstration is not a claim that the ongoing software subscription is free. Confirm the subscription, setup and any usage-related charges before deciding to use the system for your shop.
You can also use the public calculators and templates without requesting a demo. They help you prepare the figures and service list for the conversation.
Ask what the total covers.
| Item | Question to settle |
|---|---|
| Staff and branches | Does the price change with bookable staff, logins or locations? |
| Setup and data | What help is included with your services, staff and existing records? |
| Messages | Which reminders are included, and what happens above an allowance? |
| Payments | What setup and transaction charges apply to your payment arrangement? |
| Devices and printing | What hardware do you already have, and what else is required? |
| Support and exit | How do you get help, cancel or retrieve your records? |
Keep the answer in writing so you can compare like with like. A cheaper headline fee can be a poor comparison if another quote includes setup or an allowance you will actually use.
Check the cost against a specific problem.
Pick the problem you need to solve: time spent closing the till, uncertain commissions, missing service records or a diary that depends on private messages. Ask to see that task in the demo and compare it with the way you do it today.
If you use a financial example, use the contribution left from a service, not the full selling price. An imaginary KES 5,000 monthly expense would need twenty extra visits contributing KES 250 each to be covered by those visits alone. That does not predict what software will earn for you; it shows the calculation to check against your own assumptions.
The profit calculator helps keep staff pay, supplies and fixed costs visible. The software buying guide gives you a consistent demo test to use across providers.
What to bring to the conversation.
- Your service list and typical prices.
- The number of barbers and locations.
- How you calculate pay and handle advances.
- Your current cash, M-Pesa and card arrangements.
- One example of the report you want to see at closing.
Start with the feature overview if you are still deciding which part matters most. If payments are the immediate concern, read about matching receipts to services before the demo.
Questions worth asking
Is there a free barbershop software plan?
This site offers a free demonstration and free public planning tools. It does not advertise a free ongoing subscription plan. Ask for the current subscription quote before signing up.
Can I get a price for several branches?
Tell us your number of locations and staff when requesting the demo, and ask for the written cost and setup details for that arrangement.
Do I need to pay to request a demo?
No payment is required to request the demo. The request process asks about your shop, then takes you to an account step where you can continue the conversation.
Tell us how your shop works.
We’ll use your services, payment methods and staff arrangement to make the demonstration relevant.
